What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is a synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite-based injectable

gel used for lip augmentation, fine lines, depressions and scar

reduction. It is based on a natural substance found in the human

body and is non-allergenic so a skin test does not have to be

performed before treatment.

How does the treatment work?
Tiny needles inject the gel into the wrinkles or problem areas on the face. Radiesse’s microspheres are suspended within a gel carrier. The gel is replaced with natural soft-tissue, providing scaffolding for tissue infiltration and growth.

What are the results?
Radiesse can either shape facial contours, smooth wrinkles or sculpt lips. The final result leaves your facial features looking healthy, more youthful and fuller.

Are there any possible side effects?
There are some possible side effects including swelling, pain, itching, discoloration and tenderness at the injection site.

Will there be any downtime?
There will not be any downtime, but there may be some swelling and redness following treatment.
